Who it suits

Thin, sensitive or dehydrated skin, acne marks, the under-eye area, skin recovering after laser, or anyone who wants stronger skin from within.

Not suitable if

Pregnancy or breastfeeding; allergy to fish or seafood (PN is derived from salmon DNA); infection, inflamed acne or cold sores at the area; an active autoimmune flare. Please tell the doctor first if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs, bruise or bleed easily, or tend to form raised scars.

About Luna Healer PN2%

Luna Healer is a 2% PN. Its chains are longer, with more base pairs, which gives a stronger visible effect and a longer stay in the skin. One box contains 4 c.c. (two 2 c.c. syringes), and you can start with a single syringe.

How PN works

PN (polynucleotide) is purified DNA from salmon. Injected into the skin, it holds water and acts like a temporary scaffold that signals fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen, to get back to work. The skin gradually becomes stronger, more hydrated and better at repairing itself. It suits thin or sensitive skin, acne marks, the under-eye area and skin recovering after laser.

Paired with hyaluronic acid, PN lasts longer

Dr. PP often pairs PN with hyaluronic acid, such as Ejal40 Italy Bioremodeling or Definisse Italy Hydrobooster. It is like building PN a home, so it stays and works in the skin for longer. This is the idea behind Program Skin Trio.

During and after

  • Numbing cream before treatment
  • Small bumps settle within a few hours; pinpoint bruising is possible for 2–3 days
  • No make-up for 12 hours; avoid saunas and strong sun for 2–3 days
  • Usually 3 sessions about 3–4 weeks apart

Frequently asked questions

What is PN?

PN (polynucleotide) is purified DNA from salmon. Injected into the skin, it holds water and acts like a temporary scaffold that signals collagen-making cells to get back to work, so the skin gradually becomes stronger, more hydrated and better at repairing itself.

How are Vitaran and Luna Healer different, and which should I choose?

The difference is the length of the PN chains. Luna Healer has longer chains with more base pairs, which gives a stronger visible effect and lasts longer in the skin. Vitaran has shorter chains, so it feels lighter and spreads through the skin easily.

Both suit the same concerns: thin or sensitive skin, acne marks, the under-eye area and skin after laser. It comes down to whether you want shorter or longer PN, and Dr. PP can help you choose after seeing your skin.

Can PN be combined with hyaluronic acid?

Yes, and Dr. PP recommends it. Pairing PN with hyaluronic acid such as Ejal40 or Hydrobooster is like building PN a home, so it stays and works in the skin for longer. It is the same idea behind Program Skin Trio.

How many sessions do I need?

Usually 3 sessions about 3–4 weeks apart, then regular top-ups to keep the result. The doctor adjusts the plan to your skin.

Does it hurt, and is there downtime?

Numbing cream goes on first. You may feel a little discomfort. Small bumps settle within a few hours, and pinpoint bruising is possible for 2–3 days. Skip make-up for 12 hours; otherwise carry on as normal.

Results vary from person to person. Every programme starts with an assessment by a doctor.
