Not suitable if
Pregnancy or breastfeeding; allergy to hyaluronic acid; infection, inflamed acne or cold sores at the area; a tendency to raised scars; an active autoimmune flare. What is bioremodeling?
Bioremodeling uses concentrated hyaluronic acid (HA) that is not cross-linked. Rather than adding shape like a filler, the HA spreads through the skin, draws water in and encourages fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen and elastin, to work again. The aim is stronger, better-quality skin from within.

Why HA matters for the skin
About half of the body's hyaluronic acid is found in the skin, where it binds water and keeps the dermis full and supple. With age and sun exposure, the skin makes less HA and the HA it has breaks into smaller pieces, so skin becomes drier, thinner and less firm.
How it fits the Triple Derma Layer
Ejal40 works mainly in the Deep Dermis, the layer where collagen, elastin and the ECM hold the skin up. That is why it pairs well with treatments for the upper dermis, as in Program Skin Trio.
Dr. PP's technique
Dr. PP chooses the technique for each person's concern. The two main approaches are:
- Five points on the face. Dr. PP designs the position and depth of each point for you, based on your bone structure and where the skin needs support, such as the cheekbones, in front of the ears, the jaw angle and around the mouth. The HA then spreads through the surrounding skin, so no two treatments use exactly the same points.
- Cannula (blunt-tip needle). For areas that need more fullness, such as under the eyes, or areas that would usually call for filler when the patient does not want filler yet. A cannula spreads the HA smoothly along a line and lowers the chance of bruising.
The neck and the backs of the hands can also be treated after assessment.
What to expect
- Hydration improves soon after treatment; firmness builds gradually over 1–3 months
- Usually 2–3 sessions about a month apart, then maintenance every 3–4 months
- Small bumps at each point settle within a few hours to a day
- No make-up for 12 hours; avoid saunas and strong sun for 2–3 days

How is Ejal40 different from filler?
Filler is a cross-linked HA gel that adds shape, to the chin or jawline for example. Ejal40 is non-cross-linked HA that spreads through the skin. It does not add shape; it makes the skin more hydrated, firmer and better in quality from within.
Can it be used instead of filler?
In some layers and spots, yes, and it often looks more natural, because the HA spreads with the skin, lumps are less likely, and the skin there grows stronger and brighter too. That is why Dr. PP likes a combined technique: Ejal40 alongside a smaller amount of filler, for the shape you want and better skin as well.
Can it be used under the eyes?
Yes. Dr. PP spreads the HA smoothly under the eyes with a cannula, a technique that takes experience. The under-eye skin looks firmer and fuller, and its texture improves. For more dewiness, Hydrobooster or a mix of the two may suit you.
How many sessions do I need, and how long do results last?
Usually 2–3 sessions about a month apart, then a top-up every 3–4 months. Age and skin condition matter, so the doctor will plan around your skin.
Does it hurt, and is there downtime?
Numbing cream goes on first. You may feel some pressure or a little discomfort. Small bumps show at each point and settle within a few hours to a day. Most people go straight back to work.
How is Ejal40 different from Definisse Italy Hydrobooster?
Ejal40 works in the deeper dermis, on collagen and the ECM. Hydrobooster works in the upper dermis, on hydration and texture. They pair well, and both are in Skin Trio.
